Although today is a holiday on both the exchanges of Dalal Street, but on the occasion of Diwali, Muhurta trading will be held for one hour in the evening, in which many people will start their investment and try their luck by making some big bets. Muhurta trading will take place today from 6.15 pm to 7.15 pm.
The Sensex had climbed 106 points to close at 59,307 in the last trading session, while the Nifty gained 12 points to reach 17,576. US and European markets
The US stock market, which has been under pressure for the last few sessions, made a strong comeback during the last trading session and made big gains. European markets also rose on the lines of America, but many exchanges were seen under pressure here. Germany’s stock exchange, which is included in Europe’s major markets, closed down 0.29 percent in the last trading session. The French stock market also closed at a loss of 0.85 percent, but the London Stock Exchange managed to gain 0.37 percent.
Asian markets rally
Most of the stock markets of Asia opened on the rise this morning and are trading on the green mark. On the Singapore Stock Exchange, there was a big gain of 0.93 percent this morning, while Japan’s Nikkei is also trading with a huge jump of 1.38 percent. While Hong Kong’s stock market is trading at a loss of 1.95 percent, South Korea’s Kospi is trading at 1.50 percent and Taiwan’s stock market is trading at a gain of 1.13 percent. Today China’s Shanghai Composite is seeing a decline of 0.30 percent.
