New Delhi. Deoband railway station is going to undergo a makeover soon, and it will be equipped with all world class facilities. Giving information about it today, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that it is one of the 200 railway stations selected for modernization.
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav inspected Deoband railway station today, on Monday. During this, he discussed about converting it into a world class station. The Railway Minister had reached Saharanpur today on a two-day visit. Here he announced to make Deoband railway station world class and made all the basic facilities available.

The Railway Minister said that there is a Siddha Siddha Peeth of Mother Bala Sundari here. In view of its religious importance, it has been decided to make the facilities at Deoband railway station world class. The platform will also be expanded in this project.
Rejuvenation of railway stations across the country
Let us tell you that Indian Railways is trying to modernize many railway stations across the country. About 40 railway stations are being redeveloped. Tender process is going on for redevelopment of 14 railway stations.

According to a media report, facilities like spacious roof plaza, food court, waiting lounge, children’s play area, special place for sale of local products are planned to be provided in these railway stations. Green building technology and other facilities for the differently-abled will be taken care of in the construction of the station’s infrastructure.
