Mumbai. One or the other stock of Tata Group keeps showing bullishness. At present, the shares of Tata Investment Corporation Ltd are running like a leopard. Shares of Tata Investments continue to remain bullish. On Friday, it reached a new high with the increase in the fourth consecutive session.
On Friday, this stock had crossed Rs 2,800 per share in the day’s trading. It has reached a record high with a market cap of over Rs 14,000 crore. On Friday, this stock closed at Rs 2763.90 on BSE. While the market fell heavily on Friday, the stock managed to close in the green.

Over 110% growth in three months
This Tata group stock has become a multibagger stock with a growth of over 110% in the last three months. It has doubled from the level of ₹ 1,300 in mid-June this year to close to ₹ 2,800 at present. In the last one year, while the BSE Sensex has seen an increase of more than 2%, in comparison, the shares of Tata Investment have increased by about 119%.
Tata Investment Corporation Limited (TICL) of Tata Sons is a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) registered with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Earlier its name was The Investment Corporation of India. This company mainly invests in long term investments like equity shares and equity related securities.

Net profit up 66.5%
The company mainly invests in equity shares, debt instruments, equity related securities of listed and unlisted companies for long duration. The major sources of income of the company include dividends, interest and other profits on the sale of investments. For the first quarter ended June 2022 or Q1 FY23, Tata Investment Corporation reported a growth of 66.5% in net profit.
Established in the year 1994
Tata Investments started Tata Asset Management Company Limited in 1994 along with Tata Sons Limited. In this Tata Sons holds 68% stake while TICL has 32 per cent stake in Tata AMC. Tata Asset Management (TAM) is one of the first Indian private sector fund management companies. The principal activity of the company is to work as Investment Manager in Tata Mutual Fund.
