The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow fined activist Anna Krechetova 50,000 rubles under the article on “discrediting the Russian army” because of a picket with a poster “Fascism will not pass”. This was reported “OVD-Info”.

“The content of visual agitation is clearly expressed by a negative attitude towards the armed forces of the Russian Federation,” says in the protocol.

On March 4, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree introducing administrative liability for discrediting the army (Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The maximum penalty is a fine of 500 thousand rubles.
