This time, 409 foreign players have also registered their names for the auction, which are from 16 different countries. Out of this, players from 6 associate countries are also included. The names of the most foreign players for the auction have been seen from South Africa, while the second largest number of players are from Australia.

According to the official information given by the Indian Premier League, this time the maximum number of foreign players from South Africa have given their names to participate in the auction, in which the number of their players is 91. At the second place is the number of players from Australia in which 76 players have registered for the auction. Apart from this, England is at third place in this list from where 52 players have given their names to participate in the auction. Talking about Associate countries, 4 from Canada, 12 from Netherlands, 2 from Scotland, 10 from USA, apart from this, one player each from UAE and Italy has registered to participate in the mega auction.
A total of 204 slots are vacant including all the teams.
