Mohammed Shami: A big update has come out regarding the return of India’s fast bowler Mohammed Shami. Shami may return to the field soon. Shami is on the road to recovery after successful ankle surgery. Currently, he is undergoing rehab at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. He has also started bowling in the nets. Meanwhile, big news has come out about Shami. He has been included in Bengal’s 31 probable players ahead of Ranji Trophy 2024-25.

According to ESPN Cricinfo report, Shami can play a match for Bengal against UP (Uttar Pradesh), which will start from October 11. The fast bowler is also expected to play a match against Bihar at home from October 18. According to media reports, Mohammed Shami has been given a target by the BCCI to be fully fit before the crucial tour of Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024 starting November 22. According to a report by Cricbuzz, Shami plans to play the first match of Ranji Trophy 2024 before returning to the home Test series against New Zealand in October.

Mohammed Shami may be part of the India A team, which will tour Australia to play some four-day matches before joining India’s team for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
