Bangladesh team is going to tour India for the two match test series between India and Bangladesh. The first match of this series will be played on 19th September in Chennai. Meanwhile, there was constant suspense about a Bangladesh player. Actually, after the violent protests in Bangladesh, a case is going on against this star player there. Due to which it is believed that this player will not come on the tour of India. This player is none other than Shakib Al Hasan.
Meanwhile, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has cleared the suspense over Shakib Al Hasan’s participation in the upcoming Test series against India. BCB director Nazmul Abedin has confirmed that Shakib will not join Bangladesh’s preparation camp, but he will go with the team to play in the bilateral series against India. Bangladesh’s preparation camp will start from September 9 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.

Nazmul Abedin told Cricbuzz that Shakib will go directly from England to India and participate in the series. He also told that there is no problem with Shakib’s fitness and it is expected that the whole team will be available for practice from September 9 with full preparation. The BCB director said that after the historic Test win against Pakistan, India will look at Bangladesh in a new light. He admitted that India will play Bangladesh with more respect than before and will try to play with a little more planning. Nazmul admitted that the Indian team is still stronger than Bangladesh, but Bangladesh has confidence and if they are able to withstand the pressure, they have the ability to perform well.
Expectations from bowlers
Nazmul Abedin said that Bangladesh has a lot of strength in bowling and if they can use their bowling properly, they will have a good chance against India. He stressed that the team has to maintain the mentality and ability to create pressure shown against Pakistan, although it will not be easy to do so against India. The BCB has also made it clear that Chandika Hathurusingha will remain the head coach of Bangladesh for the Test series against India. Despite the comments made by the newly appointed BCB president Faruk Ahmed on the head coach, Hathurusingha will travel with the Bangladesh team to India and guide the team.
