But Bangladesh wicketkeeper Mushfiqur Rahim tried to stop the ball by diving. But he was not successful. Rather, he started having pain in his shoulder. However, there is no update yet about how deep his injury is and whether he will come out to bat for Bangladesh in the first innings or not.
He scored a century in the first match against Pakistan
Mushfiqur Rahim performed brilliantly in the first Test for Bangladesh. It was because of him that Bangladesh’s team was able to win the first Test match against Pakistan. He played an innings of 191 runs. Due to his brilliant performance, he won the Player of the Match award. Mushfiqur Rahim made his Test cricket debut for Bangladesh in 2005. After this, he has played 89 Tests so far, in which he has scored 5867 runs. He has 11 centuries to his name in Test cricket. At the same time, he has scored 7792 runs in 271 ODIs.
Mehdi Hasan Miraz took five wickets
In the first innings against Pakistan, off-spinner Mehdi Hasan Miraz took five wickets for 61 runs for Bangladesh. Because of him, Pakistan’s team could not score a big score. Taskin Ahmed, who was returning to Test matches after a long time, took three wickets. Pakistan had a very bad start when Abdul Shafiq returned to the pavilion without opening his account. But after this, captain Shan Masood (57) and Sam Ayub (58) made a partnership of 107 runs and took the team out of trouble. Babar Azam could score only 35 runs. Salman Ali Agha played an innings of 54 runs.
