India vs England

IND vs ENG: The last match of the five-match Test series between India and England is to be played in Dharamshala. In this match, India’s star player R Ashwin can play his 100th test match. Apart from Ashwin, another player is ready for his 100th Test in this match. This player is none other than England’s wicketkeeper batsman Jonny Bairstow. If Jonny Bairstow joins the playing 11 of the fifth Test match against India, he will play the 100th Test match of his Test career.

What did Bairstow say before the 100th test?

Jonny Bairstow, who is on the verge of completing a century in Test matches, said on Tuesday that reaching this historic achievement means a lot to him because in the meantime he had to go through many tough challenges. This 36-year-old cricketer can become the 17th England player to play 100 Test matches when he enters the fifth and final Test match against India starting on Thursday.

Bairstow said before this match that it means a lot to me. When any kid starts his journey in professional cricket, he wants to play 100 test matches. I made my debut at Lord’s in 2012 and if after 12 years you say that I am going to play 100 Test matches, then it will be a very happy moment. When Bairstow was eight years old, his father, former England wicketkeeper David, committed suicide. His mother, Janet, kept the family together despite her battle with breast cancer.

Said this about the pitch

Regarding the pitch prepared for the fifth Test match, Bairstow said that the groundsmen have done a very good job. The wicket here was criticized a lot during the ODI World Cup. He said that if we talk about the outfield of the ODI World Cup, then the groundsmen have done an excellent job. The pitch looks good and if you are pointing out that it will help the fast bowlers then it will be good for both the teams. Bairstow also played his 100th match in ODI cricket in Dharamshala. Regarding this match venue, he said that Cape Town is my favorite ground but I do not think there is any other ground more beautiful than Dharamshala in the world.
