In such a situation, while both the matches of the Test series against Bangladesh had to be held in Rawalpindi, it seems a bit difficult in the 3-match Test series against England. According to the official schedule announced, the England team has to play Test matches in Multan, Karachi and Rawalpindi. PCB is now planning to hold this Test series at some other venue due to renovation work. This Test series can also be played in UAE, but during that time the Women’s T20 World Cup will be organized there, so taking this decision is not going to be an easy task for PCB.

A PCB source has told PTI that the board is planning to conduct fitness tests of the players before giving central contracts for the next one year, which will include players included in the central contract as well as players who have performed well in domestic cricket.
