Arshdeep Singh created history by taking 5 wickets in ODI, the first Indian bowler to do so

India vs South Africa 1st ODI: Arshdeep Singh bowled amazingly in the first ODI match against South Africa. South African batsmen could not stand before him. He won everyone’s hearts with his bowling. Because of Arshdeep, the South African team could not score big in the first ODI. The entire South African team was all out for 116 runs. Arshdeep has made a big record with his excellent bowling.

In the match against South Africa, Arshdeep Singh took 5 wickets for 37 runs in his 10 overs. He has taken 5 wickets for the first time in his career. Arshdeep has become the first Indian fast bowler to take 5 wickets against South Africa. Before Arshdeep, Sunil Doshi, Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravindra Jadeja have also taken five wickets against South Africa, but all three of them were spinners.

Arshdeep Singh made his ODI debut for India in the year 2022. This is his fourth match and he took five wickets in it. He could not take wickets in all the three ODI matches played before this. He has also taken 59 wickets in 42 T20 matches for Team India. Arshdeep is known for his yorker balls and he also proves to be quite economical. He is known for taking wickets at the beginning of the innings.

South African team all out for 116 runs

In the first ODI match against India, no batsman from South Africa could play a big innings. Andile Phehlukwayo scored the highest 33 runs for South Africa. Whereas Tony De Georgi scored 28 runs. Apart from these two, no batsman could face the Indian bowlers properly. For India, Arshdeep Singh took 5 wickets, Avesh Khan took 4 wickets and Kuldeep Yadav took 1 wicket.
