ICC Test Rankings: ICC has released the new test rankings of bowlers. Indian bowler Ravichandran Ashwin has won the lottery in this. Ashwin had performed strongly in the Test series against England. Now he has got the benefit of this in ICC rankings. He has become the number-1 bowler in the new ICC Test rankings. Jasprit Bumrah has suffered a loss. Kuldeep Yadav has also made a big leap in the ICC Test rankings.
Ashwin became number-1 bowler
Ravichandran Ashwin has reached number one in the ICC Test rankings and has achieved the number-1 crown. He has gained one place. Ashwin has 870 rating points. Australia’s Jos Hazlewood is at second place. He has 847 rating points. Indian team’s superstar fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has lost one place. He is at number three. He has 847 rating points. Number four is Kagiso Rabada. Rabada has also suffered the loss of one place. He has 834 rating points.
Showed strength against England
Ravichandran Ashwin performed strongly against England and played an important role in Team India winning the series. He took a total of 26 wickets in the series. The fifth Test against England was his 100th Test match. In this match he took a total of 9 wickets in his name. Ashwin is the second highest wicket taker for India in the history of Test cricket. Apart from this, he has taken the maximum number of five wickets for India.

Three Indians are included in the top-10 in the ICC Test rankings for bowlers. These include Ravichandran Ashwin, Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja. Ravindra Jadeja is at number 7. He has 788 rating points. On the other hand, India’s Kuldeep Yadav has benefited. He has moved up 15 places to reach number 16. He has 686 marks. Kuldeep showed an amazing performance in the test series against England. He took 19 wickets in his name while playing a total of four matches.
