The second test match is being played between India and Bangladesh at Green Park Stadium in Kanpur. Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bowl first. The first session was more in favor of Bangladesh. The Indian team could dismiss only 2 batsmen of Bangladesh in the first session. Both the wickets went to Akash Deep’s account. By the lunch break, Bangladesh had put 74 runs on the score board after losing 2 wickets.

There was a slight delay in the lunch break due to rain but after a short wait the match started once again. With the beginning of the second session, the Indian captain handed the ball to R Ashwin and the result was immediately visible. Bowling his second over after lunch, Ashwin showed the way to the pavilion to Bangladesh captain Nazmul Hasan Shanto on a personal score of 31 runs. In this way spinner R Ashwin created a new history. As soon as Nazmul was dismissed, R Ashwin became the second highest wicket taker in Asia.
