Usman Khawaja considered Ravichandran Ashwin as the most dangerous bowler of the Indian team.

IND vs AUS Test Series: While the Indian team is preparing to play a 2-match Test series against Bangladesh at home from September 19, it also has to play a 5-match Test series on the tour of Australia from November 22 this year, preparations for which have already begun. For some time now, there has been a continuous round of statements about the Border-Gavaskar Test series, in which statements of current and former Australian players are coming out. Now the name of opening batsman Usman Khawaja has also been added to this, who has praised Team India’s experienced off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin and described him as a bowler who always has some plan to get the batsmen out.

Ashwin always has a different plan

In his statement on Star Sports regarding the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Usman Khawaja said about Ravi Ashwin that he is a very good bowler and he has not one or two plans but many plans to get the batsman out. He always tries to stay ahead of the batsman in the game along with understanding the batsman. I respect Ashwin’s cricketing mind a lot and I always feel like playing against him because I am always eager to play against such challenges. Let us tell you that Ashwin has a very good record against Australia in Tests in which he has taken 39 wickets in 10 Test matches played in Australia so far, while he has a total of 114 wickets in Test cricket against the Australian team so far.

It will not be easy for India to win the Test series this time

Australia’s explosive opening batsman Travis Head also said in his statement about the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Test series against India that it will not be easy for them to win the Test series this time like the last two times. Head said, “I don’t think India is a contender for victory. I believe that we have played a lot of cricket against them in the last few years and during this time we have been in very good rhythm. But Indians are competitive but I would not say that they are contenders for victory.” The five-match Border-Gavaskar series between the two teams will start from November 22.
