India vs Bangladesh T20 Series: BCCI has announced the squad for the three-match T20 series against Bangladesh. For this, Suryakumar Yadav has got the responsibility of captaincy. Mayank Yadav has been included in the team for the first time. A total of 15 players have got a chance in the Indian T20 team. No player has been made vice-captain.
Two wicketkeepers got a chance in the team
Two wicketkeepers have got a chance in the Indian team for the T20 series against Bangladesh. These include Sanju Samson and Jitesh Sharma. Sanju has been a part of the T20 World Cup 2024 winning team for the Indian team and he also has experience. Whereas for some time now, whenever Jitesh has got a chance. He has lived up to that. Rinku Singh has got a place in the team as a finisher.

Hardik Pandya, Washington Sundar and Shivam Dubey have got a chance as all-rounders in the Indian squad. These players are adept at contributing with excellent bowling as well as batting. The onus of batting against Bangladesh will largely depend on Suryakumar Yadav, Abhishek Sharma, Rinku Singh and Nitish Kumar Reddy. Abhishek has scored a century in T20 International cricket for India and is known for his explosive batting.
Varun Chakraborty is back
Varun Chakraborty has returned to the Indian T20 team after a long time. He played his last T20I match for India in the year 2021. Mayank Yadav, who performed amazingly in IPL 2024, has got a chance in the team. Mayank, who played for Lucknow Super Giants, bowled the ball at a speed of more than 150 kilometers per hour and was successful in impressing everyone with his performance.
