Sanju Samson batted brilliantly against South Africa and he scored a century in just 47 balls. Right from the beginning of the innings, he started scoring runs rapidly and ended after scoring a century. He scored 107 runs in his innings playing 50 balls, which included 7 fours and 10 sixes. The special thing is that Sanju has become the Indian player to score the fastest century in a T20I match against South Africa. He has broken the record of Suryakumar Yadav. Where Sanju has scored a century in 47 balls. Whereas Surya had scored a century in 55 balls in the T20 International match against South Africa in the year 2023.

Sanju Samson has become the fourth Indian batsman to score a century in T20 International against South Africa. Before him, Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav have done this. In the first T20 match, Sanju single-handedly led the team to victory. He received the Player of the Match award for his excellent performance.
Chakraborty and Bishnoi took 3-3 wickets
In the match, the Indian team gave a target of 203 runs to South Africa to win, in response to which the African team was limited to only 141 runs. After Sanju’s century, the bowlers performed well for India. The African batsmen could not stand against Varun Chakraborty and Ravi Bishnoi and were out early. Both these players took three wickets each.
