Big feat by Salman Ali Aga, entry into the club of Imran Khan and Wasim Akram – Hindustan News Hub

The first match of the Test series is being played between Pakistan and England at the Multan Cricket Stadium in Multan. The Pakistan team, which batted explosively on the first day, was all out for 556 runs on the second day. Opener Abdullah Shafiq, captain Shan Masood, Saud Shakeel and Salman Ali Aga had important contributions in taking Pakistan to this big score. All-rounder Salman Ali Aga did wonders with the bat and scored an unbeaten century. Salman returned unbeaten after scoring 104 runs. Facing 119 balls, he played this century with the help of 10 fours and 3 sixes and joined the club of greats.

In fact, with the completion of the century, Salman Ali Aga equaled the great captains of Pakistan Imran Khan and Wasim Akram. Salman scored the third century of his Test career while batting at number 7 or below. In this way he reached at par with Imran Khan and Wasim Akram. This is the first Test century from Salman’s bat in Pakistan. Earlier, he had done the wonders of scoring hundreds on the soil of Australia and Sri Lanka.

He has scored 1033 runs in 28 innings of 15 matches at an average of 46.95 which includes 3 centuries and 7 half-centuries. His best score is 132 runs not out. Salman has joined the club of batsmen with the highest average while batting at number 6 or lower for Pakistan in Test matches. His average is higher than Mohammad Rizwan and Asad Shafiq at number 6 or less.
