Sunrisers Hyderabad team can spend up to Rs 23 crore before IPL 2025 for one of its biggest players, Heinrich Klaasen. That means, if this happens, he will become the second most expensive player in IPL history. He seems ready to break the record of his own captain Pat Cummins in terms of money. This has been revealed in a report by Cricinfo. The report says that Heinrich Klaasen is going to be the first retention for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Apart from this, the team can retain Australian all-rounder Pat Cummins for Rs 18 crore. He is also the captain of the team. Not only this, Abhishek Sharma, who is one of the star players of Team India, can get Rs 14 crore as third retention.
SRH team can also retain Travis Head and Nitish Kumar Reddy
After these three top retentions, Sunrisers Hyderabad team will also spend a huge amount to keep Travis Head and Nitish Kumar Reddy with them. The report says that the Sunrisers team is also going to include Travis Head and Nitish Kumar Reddy in the retention list. Only Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma had a higher strike rate than him. Abhishek had scored 484 runs in 16 innings at a strike rate of 204.21.
