Cricket Legends League 2024: Cricket is going to return to Kashmir. Cricket is going to be organized in Kashmir after almost 40 years. Actually, the third season of Legends League Cricket i.e. LLC is going to start from 20 September at Barkatullah Khan Stadium in Jodhpur. A total of 25 matches will be played between 6 teams in this league. At the same time, the final match between the top two teams will be played on 16 October. Srinagar has been chosen for the final match. Here, the two finalists will clash for the title at Bakshi Stadium.
Talking about cricket in Kashmir, the last international cricket match was played at the Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium in Srinagar about 40 years ago. An ODI match was played here between India and West Indies in 1983 and the last match was played between India and Australia in 1986. Since then, no international match has been played here.
This time players like Shikhar Dhawan and Dinesh Karthik will also be seen showing their talent in the league. Dhawan recently said goodbye to cricket while Dinesh Karthik announced his retirement on his birthday this year. In this way, after about 40 years, the legendary cricketer will be seen playing in Srinagar. Earlier, the league has been organized in Dehradun, Surat and Jodhpur but this will be the first time when matches of this explosive league will be played in Kashmir.

LLC co-founder Raman Raheja said that the next season of Legends League Cricket (LLC) is about to start. It is a pleasure that this time matches will be played in Kashmir as well. This will be the first opportunity for the people of Kashmir to watch live cricket in the stadium after 40 years. The organizers of the league said that last season the league was watched by 18 crore people in India. Last time legends like Suresh Raina, Aaron Finch, Martin Guptill, India’s current coach Gautam Gambhir, Chris Gayle, Hashim Amla, Ross Taylor participated in it. A pool of 200 players has been created in the franchise based tournament. The players auction for the league will be held on Thursday i.e. 29 August.
One of the biggest stadium in Kashmir
Bakshi Stadium is located in Wazir Bagh area of ​​Srinagar. This stadium has a seating capacity of about 30000 spectators and is mainly used for football matches. This stadium is the home ground of I-League team Real Kashmir FC and some I-League matches have also been played here before. It is one of the largest football stadiums in Kashmir.
