Danish Kaneria asked about Abrar Ahmed, how can we call him a mystery bowler.
Former Pakistani leg spinner Danish Kaneria has now criticized current Pakistan team player Abrar Ahmed for his poor performance. Abrar did not show any magic with the ball in the second test match against Bangladesh and was able to take only one wicket in the entire match. When Abrar entered international cricket, he was introduced as a mystery spinner but Kaneria has now said about his bowling that till now nothing has been seen that can make Abrar a mystery bowler, he is not even able to deceive the batsmen with his bowling.
What kind of a mystery bowler is he when he can’t trouble the batsmen?
Danish Kaneria, in an exclusive interview with India TV, said about Abrar Ahmed’s bowling that people were calling Abrar a mystery bowler. How can he be called a mystery bowler when he cannot trouble the batsmen? He takes a few wickets here and there and then celebrates as if he has completely turned the match around. He did not perform very well in the second Test in Rawalpindi. You become a mystery bowler when you make the team win from a situation from which no one can imagine. Then you become a hero from there.
So far he has taken only 39 wickets in 7 test matches
Abrar Ahmed has played 7 Tests and 3 T20 International matches for the Pakistani team so far, in which he has taken 39 wickets in Test cricket at an average of 33.44. During this time, Abrar has managed to take 5 wickets in an innings twice. At the same time, he could take only 2 wickets in 3 T20 matches. Abrar has played 24 matches in first class cricket and has 124 wickets to his name.
