Apart from Shikhar Dhawan, Harbhajan Singh has been given the responsibility of captaincy of Manipal Tigers, Irfan Pathan of Konark Surya Odisha, Suresh Raina of Toyam Hyderabad, Dinesh Karthik of Southern Superstars and Ian Bell of India Capitals. The first match in Legends League Cricket 2024 will be played between Konark Surya Odisha team and Manipal Tigers at Barkatulla Khan Stadium in Jodhpur. A total of 6 matches of the league will be played in Jodhpur and big cricketers have started reaching Jodhpur for this. Preparations have started for the first match and online tickets have also started selling. Last time a total of 4 teams participated in the league. This time the number of teams has increased to 6. Konark Surya Odisha and Southern Superstars are the new teams added. The LLC 2024 tournament will start from 20 September and run till 26 October.
