Sarfaraz Khan out on a duck in Bengaluru test match.

In the first match of the three-match Test series being played between India and New Zealand at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, a brilliant performance was seen from the fast bowlers of the Kiwi team, in which they performed well after the first day was canceled due to rain. When the game started on the second day, the first innings of the Indian team was wrapped up at the score of just 46. In this match, Sarfaraz Khan was given a chance in place of Shubman Gill in the playing 11 of Team India, from whom everyone expected better performance with the bat but he returned to the pavilion on a duck after facing three balls. Sarfaraz Khan, who has shown amazing performance with his bat in domestic cricket, was seen completely silent in the first innings.

Sarfaraz returned to the pavilion for a duck for the second time in the last three innings.

Sarfaraz Khan made his debut in international cricket during the Test series against England this year, in which he scored 62 runs in his first innings and after that, he managed to score 68 unbeaten runs in the next innings. However, in the same Test series, Sarfaraz managed to score a fifty in one of the next three innings but returned to the pavilion for a duck in one. Sarfaraz Khan has now also been out without opening the account in the Bengaluru Test match, due to which he has been out on this score for the second time in the last three innings. Sarfaraz, who appears to be in very good form in domestic cricket, has not been able to score even a single century in Test cricket till now. While Sarfaraz should have batted wisely in the difficult conditions for batting in the Bengaluru Test, he tried to play a big shot on the third ball of his innings and in the same, Devon Conway took a brilliant catch with one hand.

Sarfaraz’s bat has spoken strongly so far in domestic cricket.

If we look at the record of Sarfaraz Khan, who has made a place in Team India on the basis of his consistently excellent performance in domestic cricket, he has so far scored 4422 runs with an excellent average of 69.09 while playing in 51 first class matches, in which he has scored 15 centuries with his bat. And has played 14 half-century innings. His best score in an innings in domestic cricket is 301 runs unbeaten.
