Valthaty has joined Seattle Thunderbolts as the head coach in Minor League Cricket, which is a development T20 tournament for Major League Cricket in the USA.

Seattle Thunderbolts made the big announcement of appointing Paul Valthaty as their coach on August 22. The minor league cricket team released a statement saying that the Seattle Thunderbolts have just added a big hitter to their lineup, off the field! They are extremely happy to announce that former Kings XI Punjab sensation Paul Valthaty will now lead their team as the head coach.
Valthaty started working with young cricketers at the Thunderbolts Cricket Academy in Seattle. He expressed happiness at getting the opportunity to share his experience of playing for Mumbai and IPL with the young talents in Seattle. It is worth noting that the 40-year-old player retired from domestic cricket last year after playing five first class, four List A and 34 T20 matches.

While Seattle Thunderbolts has appointed Paul Valthaty as their coach, Ian Dev Chauhan has been appointed as the new captain of their team.
