Health suddenly worsens in Kanpur Test, panic over Bangladesh fan – Hindustan News Hub

During the first day of Kanpur Test match, a fan of Bangladesh team was admitted to the hospital after his health fell ill.

The second match of the 2-match Test series between India and Bangladesh started from September 27 at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur. In this match, the Indian team had decided to bowl first after winning the toss. On the first day’s play, due to rain interruption, only 35 overs were bowled, in which Bangladesh team had scored 107 runs at the loss of 3 wickets. Another incident seen in the first day’s play which garnered the most discussion was the video of Bangladesh cricket team fan Tiger Robbie going viral on social media in which it was first revealed that he was assaulted in the stands, but later In 2017, a statement was issued by Kanpur Police regarding this whole matter and it was told that the health of the fan of Bangladesh team had deteriorated, due to which he was admitted to the hospital.

There was no incident of assault with Bangladesh fan

Giving a statement in this matter, Assistant Police Commissioner of Kanpur Police, Abhishek Kumar Pandey said that during the ongoing cricket match between India and Bangladesh in Green Park, a spectator, whose name is said to be Tiger, suddenly fell ill in front of the media center. An accident occurred and he suddenly fell down there. Seeing this, the policemen present on the spot, with the help of the medical team present there, took him to the medical camp in the stadium for treatment. He was treated there. Right now he is completely fine. However, no incident of assault has been found against him. The doctors at Kanpur’s Regency Hospital, where Tiger Robbie has been admitted, said that he had complained of dehydration and he had no injuries.

First day’s play lost due to rain

The play of the first day of the second match of this test series was washed out due to rain in Kanpur till late night. The toss was delayed in the morning and as soon as the play of the first session ended, the covers came back on the field. . Although the play resumed after lunch, after a few overs the umpire stopped the day’s play due to bad light and later due to heavy rain, it was decided to end the day’s play early. The weather is expected to remain bad for the second day also.
