Bangladesh has announced its Test team for the India tour. Bangladesh will play a 2-match Test series on the India tour. After defeating Pakistan in the Test series in its own home, the Bangladesh team is now eyeing a great performance against Team India. This is the reason why Bangladesh has made only one big change in its team. Bangladesh had achieved the great feat of winning its first series in Pakistan by defeating Pakistan team 2-0 in Rawalpindi last month.
Bangladesh has included uncapped batsman Jaker Ali Anik in the squad, while fast bowler Shoriful Islam has been ruled out due to injury. Jaker Ali Anik was part of the Bangladesh team in the T20 World Cup 2024 played in the USA and West Indies this year. Jaker Ali is a wicketkeeper-batsman and has played 17 T20I matches for Bangladesh so far in which he has scored 245 runs.

The first Test match between India and Bangladesh will start in Chennai from 19 September. The second Test match will be played at Green Park Stadium in Kanpur from 27 September. After the Test series, both the teams will face each other in a 3-match T20I series.
