India vs Bangladesh Probable Playing XI: The series between India and Bangladesh is now even closer. Almost all the players of the Indian team have reached Chennai for the first match to be held on 19 September and their preparations have also begun. Virat Kohli has joined the team directly from London. Meanwhile, the biggest question in the minds of the fans is what will be the playing eleven of Team India for the first match. Although it will be clear only when Rohit Sharma will tell the team at the time of the toss, but right now it seems that there are two players who have got a place in the Indian team squad, but they may not be a part of the playing eleven.

Rohit Sharma can go with two pacers and three spinners

The BCCI selection committee has kept four pacers in the team for the first match of the series. Apart from Jaspreet Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj and Akash Deep, Yash Dayal is also there. It is worth noting that this match is to be played in Chennai, where the pitch is considered to be very helpful for spinners. Team India has won many matches here in just three days on the strength of its spinners. In such a situation, there is very little possibility that Rohit Sharma will take the field with more than two pacers. There can be a combination of two fast bowlers and three spinners. The good thing is that the three spinners who are contenders to play in the playing eleven, also bat well, so there should not be much tension.

Akashdeep and Yash Dayal may have to wait

If we talk about the bowling combination of Team India, then Ravichandran Ashwin, Akshar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja can be the three spinners and Mohammad Siraj can be the second pacer along with Jaspreet Bumrah. That means a total of five bowlers. In such a situation, Akashdeep and Yash Dayal do not seem to have a place in the team’s playing eleven at the moment. Akash Deep has played one Test for India, in which he has also taken three wickets, but Yash Dayal is waiting for his debut. Which may not be fulfilled right now.

The team for the second test will be announced later

The selectors have announced the team for the first match only, which means the team will be announced for the second Test as well. If Jasprit Bumrah is rested in that, then either Akashdeep or Yash Dayal can get a chance. However, before that it will have to be seen how the Bangladesh team performs after coming to India. If India wins the first match easily, then giving rest to Bumrah can be considered. The reason for this is that soon there is a Test series with New Zealand, in which Bumrah’s presence will be very important. It will have to be seen how Rohit Sharma and the team management perform.

India’s squad for the first Test of the Bangladesh Test series: Rohit Sharma (captain), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Sarfaraz Khan, Rishabh Pant (wicketkeeper), Dhruv Jurel (wicketkeeper), R Ashwin, R Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Siraj, Akash Deep, Jasprit Bumrah, Yash Dayal.

Team India’s probable playing XI for the first Test: Rohit Sharma (captain), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant (wicketkeeper), R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Mohammed Siraj, Jasprit Bumrah.
