India vs England 2nd Test match: The second match of the Test series being played between India and England is now near. Both the teams are currently in Visakhapatnam and are busy in their respective preparations. Meanwhile the strategy is being considered. Also, there are some players who may get a chance to debut. Now it will be interesting to see whom the team management will be kind to. The match will start on February 2 at 9.30 am, while the toss will take place half an hour before that.
Many changes have been made in Team India
After the exit of KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja before the second Test, Washington Sundar, Saurabh Kumar and Sarfaraz Khan have entered the team. Rajat Patidar is already associated with the team. Except Sundar, all the other players are waiting for their first match i.e. Test debut. Washington Sundar or Kuldeep Yadav can get a chance in place of Ravindra Jadeja. It is almost certain that Rajat Patidar or Sarfaraz will get a chance in place of KL Rahul.
One of Sarfaraz and Rajat Patidar may get a chance to debut
This will be the Test debut for whoever gets the chance between Sarfaraz Khan and Rajat Patidar. Both have had excellent performances in domestic cricket in recent times. Team India’s batting coach Vikram Rathore has also said that it will be very difficult to choose between these two. That means it will be revealed only when captain Rohit Sharma announces the playing eleven of this match. This means that there could be one to two debuts from India in this match. There is no possibility of anything more than this at present.
Jack Leach is out, Shoaib Bashir may get a chance
Talking about England, there can be at least one debut from there also. England spinner Jack Leach has been ruled out of the second test due to injury. This has been announced by England. It is a good thing for the team that their second spinner Shoaib Bashir has come to India. Earlier he was supposed to come with his team, but due to visa, he could reach India from a distance. Shoaib Bashir has also not played a single test for his team yet. That means if he gets a chance in the playing eleven, it will be a debut for him. In this way, one to two debuts can be seen from India and at least one debut from England. If seen this way, many new players can be seen playing in the next match.
