IND vs SA 2nd Test: The first day of the second match of the Test series being played between India and South Africa at the Newlands Stadium in Cape Town was very exciting. 23 wickets fell on the first day of Cape Town Test

Aiden Markram is playing on 36 runs and David Bedingham is scoring 7 runs. At the same time, India was out for 153 runs in the first innings due to which it had gained a lead of 98 runs. Earlier, thanks to Mohammed Siraj’s six wickets, India had bowled out South Africa for 55 runs in the first innings in the first session.

Cape Town Test joins this special club

This is the sixth time in the history of Test cricket when 23 or more wickets have been taken in a day of play. The Indian team has also been a part of 2 of these six opportunities. At the same time, this is the second time in Cape Town that 23 wickets have been taken in a single day of the game. Earlier in 2011 also something similar had happened in Cape Town.
