At the Paris Paralympics 2024, Indian para athlete Simran Sharma won the bronze medal in the final of the women’s 200m T12 event by completing the race in 24.75 seconds. In this event, Cuba’s Omara Durand won the gold medal by completing the race in 23.62 seconds while Venezuela’s Alejandra Perez won the silver medal by completing the race in 24.19 seconds.
