Meanwhile, Arshdeep Singh, playing for India D in the third round of the Duleep Trophy, bowled 11.2 overs continuously on the fourth day of the match against India B and took 6 wickets for 40 runs and played an important role in giving his team a big win by a margin of 257 runs. In this match, India B team got a target of 373 runs in the fourth innings but due to Arshdeep Singh’s deadly fast bowling, it was restricted to a score of 115 runs.

While Arshdeep Singh took 6 wickets for 40 runs, this is the best bowling performance in a single match in his cricket career so far. Arshdeep had earlier taken a total of 3 wickets during the first innings of India B team in this match, with this he managed to take 9 wickets in the match. Arshdeep Singh made Team India’s new T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav his victim in both the innings of this match. In this match, Arshdeep Singh got good support from the other end in the fourth innings from Aditya Thackeray who also took 4 wickets.
