India vs Bangladesh 1st T20: The Indian team won the Test series against Bangladesh 2-0. Now Team India’s eyes are set on doing well in the T20 series. A total of 14 T20 matches have been played between the two teams so far, out of which the Indian team has won 13 and the Bangladesh team has been successful in winning only one. The command of the Indian team for the T20 series is in the hands of Suryakumar Yadav. The first match will be played on 6 October in Gwalior.
Sanju Samson may get the responsibility of opening
Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson can play the responsibility of opening for the Indian team in the first T20 match against Bangladesh. Both these players have already opened for India in T20 International. Abhishek has scored 100 runs while opening in 2 T20I matches for India, which includes a century. Whereas Sanju Samson has scored 77 runs while opening in 5 T20I matches. The responsibility of wicketkeeper can also be given to Sanju.
Both Shivam Dubey and Hardik Pandya can get a place in the playing 11.
Captain Suryakumar Yadav can land at number three. Surya has performed brilliantly for Team India for some time now and has proved to be the biggest match winner for the team. He has the ability to hit strokes in any corner of the field. Ryan Parag may get a chance at number four and former captain Hardik Pandya may get a chance at number five. Along with excellent batting, Hardik is also an expert in strong batting. Rinku Singh may get the role of finisher. Rinku scores runs at a fast pace in the death overs and is known for hitting long sixes. Shivam Dubey may also get a chance in the playing eleven.
Arshdeep Singh will be seen carrying the responsibility of the fast bowling attack. He had performed amazingly for India in the T20 World Cup 2024. To support him, either Harshit Rana or Mayank Yadav may get a chance in the team. Both of them have not played a single T20 International match for the Indian team yet. Shivam Dubey and Hardik Pandya bowl medium fast and some overs can be bowled from them too. Washington Sundar and Ravi Bishnoi may get a place in the spin department.
