That means only one bowler has been retained by the team. Rs 75 crore has already been deducted from the team’s purse and only Rs 45 crore is left. Although Rs 45 crore seems like a lot, but when the bidding takes place on the day of auction, this amount becomes less. Mumbai will have to fill at least 20 slots on the day of the auction. That means running after any one bowler will not be an easy task. The fear is that if the team is not able to find a partner for Bumrah next year, the situation may be similar to last time.
