Pakistan Cricket Team: T20 World Cup 2024 is to be played on the soil of America and West Indies. This time 20 teams are participating in the T20 World Cup. Now the Pakistani team will play a series of five T20 matches against New Zealand before the T20 World Cup. The schedule of the T20 series has been announced. New Zealand team will tour Pakistan in April 2024.
The series will start from April 18
The T20 series between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played from April 18 to April 27. But the New Zealand team will reach Pakistan only on April 14 for the practice session. The Kiwi team will visit Pakistan for the third time in the last 17 months. For the first time for two Tests in December 2022/January 2023. After this, New Zealand toured Pakistan for the ODI series in April 2023.
Shaheen Afridi is the captain of Pakistani team
Earlier this year, Pakistan toured New Zealand and the team had to face a 4-1 defeat against New Zealand. The Pakistani team captained by Shaheen Afridi could win only one T20I match. Babar Azam had left the captaincy of the Pakistani team after the ODI World Cup 2023. After this Shaheen Afridi was made the captain.

April 14 – New Zealand team will reach Pakistan
16-17 April – Training/Practice
18 April – 1st T20 match, Rawalpindi
20 April – 2nd T20 match, Rawalpindi
21 April – 3rd T20 match, Rawalpindi
25 April – 4th T20 match, Lahore
27 April – 5th T20 match, Lahore
