Shah also made it clear that if a player gets injured and is dropped from the Test team, he will have to prove himself again in the domestic circuit before joining Team India. He gave the example of Ravindra Jadeja, who is the only A+ grade cricketer to play in the Duleep Trophy.
It was necessary to take strict measures
Jai Shah told the Times of India that if you look at the Duleep Trophy team, except Rohit and Virat, all the other players will play.
