English completed his century in just 43 balls in this match being played at the Edinburgh ground.

Australia lost their first wicket in the second T20 match in the form of Travis Head at a score of 11. After this, wicketkeeper batsman Josh English, who came to bat at number 3, handled the innings from one end and continued to score runs at a fast pace, in which the team was able to reach a score of 55 in the first 6 overs. English got the support of Chris Green and both of them together took the team towards a big score by making a partnership of 92 runs in 52 balls for the third wicket. This is Josh English’s second century in T20 International and before this he had scored his first century playing as a batsman, while in this match he was playing in the role of wicketkeeper-batsman. With this, English has now become the first Australian wicketkeeper batsman to have a record of scoring a century in T20 International.
