Kamendu played his debut Test in July 2022. He scored 61 runs in the first innings of the same match. After this, in his second match against Bangladesh in the year 2024, he scored 102 and 164 runs. When he came on the field for his third match in March 2024, he scored an unbeaten 92 runs. Even after playing consecutive record-breaking innings in three matches, he did not stop. He scored 113 runs in his fourth match. Even after this, he continued on his chariot.
