For this reason, he was shown the way out of the second and third Test matches against England. In his place, Kamran Ghulam, who has been performing well in domestic cricket for years, got a chance in the squad. Seeing his strong performance, he was also included in the playing eleven of the second test. Kamran grabbed this opportunity with both hands and played an excellent innings for the team.

Scored a century in the debut match itself

After this, Sam Ayub and debutant Kamran Ghulam made a big partnership. It was because of him that Pakistan scored 259 runs for five wickets on the first day of the second test.

Said this for Babar Azam

Kamran Ghulam said after the match that it was disappointing to wait for almost four years to get a chance to play for Pakistan. I had a lot of passion and wanted to perform well whenever I got a chance. He said that I waited patiently because I knew I would get a chance. I think my years of hard work in domestic cricket have given me the skills to play on all types of pitches and against all types of bowlers. Ghulam admitted that it was not easy to replace a player of Babar’s stature. Yes, there was pressure to play in his (Babar’s) place but I think my desire to succeed took away that pressure.

Strong performance in domestic cricket
