Pakistan Super League: There is always a debate among the fans as to which league is better between Pakistan Super League and Indian Premier League. Where 6 teams participate in PSL. The winner gets this much money in PSL
Islamabad United team, which won the Pakistan Super 2024 trophy, has received Rs 4.13 crore. Whereas the runner-up team Multan Sultans has received Rs 1.65 crore. Islamabad United has won the Pakistan Super League title for the third time. The team had performed well in the league stage. Captain Shadab Khan performed brilliantly for Islamabad and received the Player of the Tournament award.
RCB gets Rs 6 crore for winning the WPL 2024 title
Royal Challengers Bangalore team has been given Rs 6 crore as prize money for winning the final of the Women’s Premier League 2024. The Delhi Capitals team, which was runner up, also got a prize of Rs 3 crore. Delhi Capitals team was also the runner-up last season.
This much is the prize money of IPL
The IPL 2023 title was won by Chennai Super Kings by defeating Gujarat Titans by 5 wickets. Then CSK team got Rs 20 crore as prize money. Gujarat Titans, the league’s runners up team, was given Rs 13 crore as reward. This is the largest amount of money given in any cricket league.
The prize money of Pakistan Super League (4.13 crore) is much less as compared to Indian Premier League (winner Rs 20 crore) and Women’s Premier League (winner Rs 6 crore). The prize money of Pakistani Super League is almost a quarter of that of IPL. Even for winning in WPL, one gets Rs 6 crore whereas the PSL winner gets only Rs 4.13 crore. In terms of prize money, Pakistan Super League is nowhere compared to both the Indian leagues.
