Most maiden overs in T20 cricket: T20 cricket leagues are being played all over the world in which one bowler after another is showing off his bowling skills. This bowler is none other than Pakistan’s famous fast bowler Mohammad Aamir. Actually, the 13th match of CPL 2024 was played between Barbados Royals and Antigua and Barbuda Falcons in Barbados. Playing for Barbuda Falcons in this match, Mohammad Aamir wreaked such havoc with the ball in just 2.3 overs that the big record of the Indian fast bowler was broken. Aamir bowled only 15 balls and created a new record without taking any wicket.
Aamir left Bhuvi behind
The Pakistani fast bowler conceded just 11 runs in 2.3 overs. During this, his over was maiden which is very rarely seen in T20 cricket. Actually, Mohammad Aamir has now become the first fast bowler in the world to bowl the most maiden overs in T20 cricket. He has achieved this big milestone by defeating Bhuvi. Mohammad Aamir participates in T20 cricket all over the world and this is the reason why he has been successful in breaking this big record of Bhuvi. On the other hand, Bhuvi plays domestic cricket and IPL where it is very difficult to bowl a maiden over.
