The Pakistan team is hosting a 2-match Test series against Bangladesh at home, the first match of which is being played at the Rawalpindi ground. In this match, while the Pakistani team declared their first innings at a score of 448 with a brilliant batting performance, better performance was expected from their bowlers. However, on the third day of the game, excellent batting was also seen from Bangladesh and by the end of the day’s play, they had scored 316 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. At the same time, a different scene was seen in the last session of the third day’s play in which Babar Azam was seen sledging Liton Das and in the next over, Das hit Naseem Shah for 18 runs.
Naseem paid the price for Babar’s mistake
The last session of the third day of the Rawalpindi Test match was going on and there was not much time left for the day’s play to end. Meanwhile, Babar Azam came and talked to Liton Das just before the 89th over of the Bangladesh team’s innings, to which Das’s reaction was shocking. After this, Liton Das hit two consecutive fours in the first 2 balls against Naseem Shah who came to bowl the over. While the third ball was a dot, Das hit a huge six on the fourth ball and then hit another four on the next ball, scoring a total of 18 runs and also completed his half-century. Apart from Liton Das, half-century innings were seen from the bats of Shadman, Mominul Haque and Mushfiqur Rahim on the third day’s play from Bangladesh.
Liton Das was dismissed by Naseem Shah after scoring 56 runs.
When the fourth day of this Test match began, Liton Das, who returned unbeaten after scoring 52 runs on the third day, became the victim of Naseem Shah after scoring just 4 runs. Naseem got Liton caught out by Mohammad Rizwan and sent him to the pavilion on a personal score of 56. At the same time, Mushfiqur Rahim was handling the innings from one end in which the Bangladesh team took its score past 350 runs in the first session of the fourth day’s play.
