These two star players were out of the series together

Matt Henry and Tim Seifert have been ruled out of this T20 series played against Australia. Both the players had to be out of this series due to injury. At the same time, in place of these players, Ben Sears and Will Young have returned to the New Zealand team. Let us tell you that after the second test against South Africa in Hamilton, Henry had some pain in his hip, due to which he has been given rest. Seifert has been out of the team due to an injury sustained during training for Northern Districts.

The head coach of the team gave this statement

New Zealand head coach Gary Stead said he was confident that both players would improve rapidly ahead of important series and events. Stead said it was natural for Matt to be disappointed, but the break for the T20s would ensure he is fully fit and ready for the Test against Australia later this month. We are disappointed for Tim who has performed well in recent series and is an important part of the team. We hope he makes a speedy recovery ahead of the important phase of T20 cricket for the team.
