Nitish Reddy made a big record in his second match, created history by scoring a stormy half-century – Hindustan News Hub

The bat of young Indian batsman Nitish Reddy spoke loudly in Delhi. After the top order faltered in the second T20I match against Bangladesh, Nitish Reddy along with Rinku Singh took over the Indian innings and created history by making a partnership of more than 100 runs. During this, Nitish created a record by completing his half-century in 27 balls. Nitish Reddy scored 13 runs in the first 13 balls in his innings and then changed gears and scored 37 runs in the next 14 balls. He scored the first fifty of his career in T20I with the help of 4 sixes and 3 fours. He achieved this big feat in his second match only.

Scored a half century in the very second match

With the completion of this half-century, Nitish Reddy is the fourth youngest batsman to score a half-century for India. Rohit Sharma holds the record for scoring the youngest half-century for India. He scored a fifty in T20I at the age of 20 years and 143 days. In this case, Tilak Verma is at second position and Rishabh Pant is at third position. Tilak Verma had scored a half-century at the age of 20 years 271 days, while Rishabh Pant had achieved this big feat at the age of 21 years 38 days.

In his innings of 74 runs, Reddy scored 53 runs against the spinners and thus became the 5th Indian batsman to score the most runs in a T20I innings against spin.
