The senior selection committee of the Indian cricket team announced the team for the upcoming South Africa tour on the evening of 30 November. From December 10, Team India will first play a 3-match T20 series against the host team, after which a three-match ODI series will be played between the two teams. In the last 2-match test series, both the teams will face each other. In the different teams announced for the series of all three formats for this tour, there are only three players who are part of the team in Test, ODI and T20 series.
Mukesh Kumar, Ruturaj and Shreyas got place
Mukesh Kumar, Shreyas Iyer and Ruturaj Gaikwad are the three players in the team announced for the series against South Africa, who will be part of the team in all the series played on this tour. This decision of the selectors gives a clear indication that they are showing a lot of confidence in these three players. Along with proving himself in domestic cricket, Ruturaj Gaikwad recently played a brilliant century in the third match of the ongoing T20 series against Australia. Gaikwad has so far scored 458 runs in 17 T20 matches, apart from this he has also played four ODI matches, although he has not got a chance to debut in Test yet.
On the other hand, if we talk about Shreyas Iyer, he was already a key part of the ODI and T20 team. In the recently concluded ODI World Cup, Iyer was the third highest run scorer for India. Iyer scored a total of 530 runs in the mega tournament at an average of 66.25. Iyer has shown better performance so far in Tests also.

This year, during the Indian team’s tour of West Indies, Mukesh Kumar got a chance to debut in international cricket in all three formats. Regarding Mukesh’s bowling performance, the Indian team’s bowling coach also praised him and said that he has the ability to play in all three formats. Recently, Ravichandran Ashwin had also predicted about Mukesh that he can become the next Mohammed Shami of the Indian team.
