Paralympics Games 2024 India’s Complete Schedule: The Paralympic Games will begin in Paris, the capital of France, from August 28 and will continue till September 8. This time, a total of 84 para athletes have come from India to participate in the Paralympic Games. All these athletes will participate in events of 12 different sports. In the last Paralympic Games, a team of 54 athletes had gone from India, which was successful in winning a total of 19 medals. These included 5 gold, 8 silver and 6 bronze medals. Four out of the 5 para athletes who won gold medals in the last Paralympics are participating this time as well.

From Avni Lekhara to Krishna Nagar, all eyes are on everyone

Para athletes who won gold in the last Paralympics from India and are participating this time too include Sumit Antil (para athletics), Avni Lekhara (para shooting), Krishna Nagar (para-badminton) and Manish Narwal (para shooting), all of whom are expected to win medals this time too. This will be India’s complete schedule on 29 August

  • Indian badminton players will be in action in various events from 12:00 PM onwards.
  • Aruna will be in action in K44 – 47kg in Taekwondo. The event will start at 1:30 PM.
  • Jyoti Gaderia will compete in the cycling event qualification in the C-1 3000m pursuit at 4:25 pm. The medal match will also be held on the same day.
  • Sarita, Sheetal Devi, Harvinder Singh, Rakesh Kumar and Shyam Swami will participate in the archery event.

India’s schedule for Paralympics on August 30

  • Avani Lekhara and Mona Agarwal will begin their campaign in the R2 10m rifle shooting event. The qualification event will take place at 12:30 pm.
  • Manish Narwal and Rudransh Khandelwal will be in action in the P1-10m Pistol SH1. The qualification will take place at 2:45 pm.
  • Sriharsha Ramakrishna will compete in the R4 Mixed 10m Air Rifle Standing event at 5:00 PM.
  • Sakshi Kasana and Karam Jyoti will compete in the final of the discus F55 event which will take place from 1:30 PM IST.
  • Manu will participate in the final event of Shot Put F37 which will start at 12:20 late night.
  • Arshad Shaikh will participate in the C-2 3000m pursuit in cycling.

  • Sarita and Sheetal Devi, Rakesh Kumar and Shyam Swami will participate in the knockout round of archery.
  • Anitha and Narayan K. will compete in the PR-3 mixed doubles sculls event in rowing.

  • In shooting, Mahaveer Unhalkar will participate in the 10m Rifle Standing SH1 event. The qualification will be held from 1 pm.
  • Arshad Sheikh will be participating in the C1-3 1000m time trial cycling event. The qualification will start at 1:49pm and the final will also be held on the same day.
  • In table tennis, Bhavinaben Patel and Sonalben Patel will participate in the women’s doubles WD10. The semi-finals will be at 1:30 pm, the final will also be held on the same day.
  • In shooting, Rubina Francis will compete in the P2 10m pistol SH1 event. Qualification will be held at 3:30 pm, final will also be held on the same day.
  • In Archery, Sheetal Devi and Sarita will be in action in the Compound Open. The pre-quarterfinals will start at 7:00 PM.
  • Javelin thrower Parveen Kumar will compete in F57 at 10:30 PM.
  • In badminton, Nitesh Kumar, Shivarajan Solamalai, Suhas Yathiraj, Palak Kohli, Thulasimati Murugesan, Nitya Sri Sivan will be in action from 7:30 PM.
  • Anitha and Narain will be participating in the rowing event at 2:40 pm.

  • In shooting, Avani Lekhara and Siddharth Babu will compete in the R3-Mixed 10m Rifle Prone SH1. Qualification at 1 pm, final later in the day.
  • In shooting, Sriharsha Ramakrishna will participate in the R5 – Mixed 10m Rifle Prone SH2.
  • Ravi Rangoli will be in action in the final event of Shot Put F40 from 3:09 PM IST.
  • In archery, Rakesh Kumar and Shyam Swami will participate in the compound open. Pre-quarter and medal events will also be held on the same day.
  • Nishad Kumar and Ram Pal will compete in the High Jump F47 final at 10:58 pm.
  • In athletics, Preeti Pal will compete in the 200m T35 final. The event will take place at 11:08 pm.
  • Rakshitha Raju in the 1500m T11 Round 1 in athletics.

  • In shooting, Amir Ahmed Bhat and Nihal Singh will take part in the qualification of the P3 Mixed 25m Pistol event at 12:30 pm.
  • In athletics, Rakshitha Raju will compete in the 1500m – T11 final.
  • In Archery, Rakesh Kumar, Sheetal Devi/Shyam Swami, Sarita in Compound Open Mixed Team.
  • Sumit Antil, Sandeep and Sandeep Sargar will compete in the Javelin F64 final at 10:30 PM.
  • In athletics, Deepthi Jeevanjee will participate in the 400m T20 – Round 1.

India’s schedule for Paralympics on September 3

  • In archery, Pooja will be in action in the individual recurve open. Knockout and medal events will also be held on the same day.
  • Avani Lekhara and Mona Agarwal will participate in the R8 – 50m Rifle 3P SH1. Both the qualification and final will be held on the same day.
  • Bhagyashree Jadhav will compete in the F34 final in the shot put event.
  • Deepthi Jeevanjee will compete in the 400m T20 final in athletics.
  • Indian high jumpers Mariyappan Thangavelu, Sailesh Kumar and Sharad Kumar will be in action in the T63 final. The event will start at 11:40 PM.
  • Ajeet Singh, Rinku, Sundar Singh Gurjar will participate in the Javelin Throw F46 final. The event will start at 12:10 am late night.

  • In cycling, the individual time trials will be contested by Arshad Shaikh in C2 and Jyoti Gaderia in C1-3.
  • Harvinder Singh in the Individual Recurve Open in Archery. The knockouts will start at 12:30 pm. Medal matches will also be held on the same day.
  • Shooters Nihal Singh, Rudransh Khandelwal will participate in the P4 Mixed 50m Pistol SH1. The qualification and final will take place on the same day.
  • Sachin Sarjerao Khilari, Mohammad Yasir and Rohit Kumar will compete in the Shot Put F46 final in athletics at 1:35 pm.
  • Powerlifters para athletes will begin their campaign, with Paramjeet Kumar and Sakina Khatun in action in the 49kg final and 45kg final respectively.
  • Dharambir, Pranav Soorma and Amit Kumar will compete in the club throw F51 final.

  • Harvinder Singh and Pooja’s mixed archery team in recurve open. The knockouts will start at 1:30 pm and the medal matches will be held on the same day.
  • Judo athletes Kokila and Kapil Parmar will compete in the 48kg J2 and 60kg J1.
  • Powerlifter Ashok will participate in the 65 kg final.
  • Arvind will compete in the Shot Put F35 final at 11:49 pm.

  • Sonalben Patel will be in action in WS3 Singles.
  • In athletics, athlete Dipesh Kumar will be in action in the javelin F54 final from 2:08 pm.
  • Dilip Gavit will be in action in the 400m T47 Round 1 from 2:47 pm.
  • Praveen Kumar in the final of High Jump T64.
  • Soman Rana and Hokato Sema and Bhavanaben Choudhary in the Shot Put F57 final.
  • Simran will be in action in the 200m T12 Round 1.
  • Powerlifter Kasturi Rajamani will participate in the medal event of the 67 kg category. The event will be held at 8:30 pm.
  • In canoe, Yash Kumar Kayak, Prachi Yadav and Pooja Ojha will be in kayak action.

  • Jyoti Gaderia and Arshad Sheikh in cycling
  • In swimming, Suyash Jadhav will participate in the 50m butterfly S-7 event.
  • Bhavinaben Patel will compete in the WS4 singles.
  • Yash Kumar and Prachi Yadav will be in action in Canoe.
  • In athletics, Navdeep will participate in the javelin throw F41 final.
  • Simran will compete in the 200m T12 final and Dilip Gavit will compete in the 400m T47 final.

  • Pooja Ojha will participate in the Kayak Single 200m – KL1 event.
