In the statement issued by Shane Bond on behalf of Paarl Royals, he said that it was fun working with the entire team. I can no longer exist in South Africa. I have to go to India and prepare with the new group and Rajasthan Royals and plan for IPL 2025 with Rahul Dravid. I will miss the changing room time with Paarl but will continue to follow the team from a distance.

In the IPL, Shane Bond was made the bowling coach of their team by Rajasthan Royals in the year 2023, before which he was the bowling coach of the Mumbai Indians team in the year 2015, in which he played this role for a long time.
