Samit Dravid Reaction On Selection: The Indian Under-19 team will play three ODIs and four-day matches against the Australian Under-19 team on home soil. For this, the BCCI has announced the Indian Under-19 team, in which Samit Dravid, son of former Indian team coach Rahul Dravid, has got a chance. Samit is currently playing for Mysore Warriors in the Maharaja T20 Trophy. Earlier, he impressed the selectors with his performance in the Cooch Behar Trophy. He has the ability to make the team win the match on the basis of his all-round skills.
Star Sports Kannada has shared a video in which Samit Dravid is seen speaking. On his selection, he said that I am very happy to be selected in our Under 19 team. Thank you for the wishes given on my inclusion in the team. I am feeling very good, I had worked hard for this moment.
Samit Dravid said that cricket is a process. The process of my selection was going on for the last few years. I am living the dream. I am very happy that my name has been included in the team along with three other Karnataka players.
Scored 82 runs in Maharaja T20 Trophy
Samit Dravid was born on 10 November 2005. At present, he is 18 years and 296 days old and he will not be able to play the next Under-19 World Cup for India, because the next Under-19 World Cup is to be held in 2026 and by then he will be more than 20 years old. For this reason, he will not be able to participate. Samit has scored 82 runs at a strike rate of 114 while playing 7 matches for Maharaja T20 Trophy Mysore Warriors. In which his best innings has been of 33 runs.
