However, finally the BCA team, named as the official team, took the field against Mumbai. Amit was once a part of BCA President Rakesh Tiwari’s faction. This faction won the BCA elections before the association received affiliate membership of the BCCI. It is believed that Amit’s relations with Tiwari deteriorated in 2022 when Tiwari joined rival factions. When the matter reached Tiwari, Amit was suspended and since then he has not been given any post.

Talking about Bihar vs Mumbai match, Mumbai team was all out on the score of 251 in the first innings, in which V Pratap Singh took 5 wickets and Himanshu Singh and S Ghani took 2 wickets each. Bhupen Lalwani and Suved Parkar scored half-centuries while Sarfaraz Khan failed by scoring just 1 run. After the second day’s play, Bihar has scored 89 runs after losing 6 wickets. It is clearly visible from the score of Bihar that the host team is in great shape in this match.
