Duleep Trophy India-C vs India-D: In the Duleep Trophy, India-C led by Ruturaj Gaikwad defeated India-D led by Shreyas Iyer by 4 wickets. The young players have performed very well for India C. These include Manav Suthar, Aryan Juyal, Babar Indrajit and Rajat Patidar. These players have single-handedly led India-C to victory. India-D team gave India-C a target of 233 runs, which India-C achieved easily.
Young players played excellent innings
Captain Ruturaj Gaikwad and Sai Sudarshan gave a steady start to the India-C team. But Sudarshan was out on a personal score of 22 runs. After this, Gaikwad and Aryan Juyal took the responsibility of scoring runs. Both these players batted steadily and took the India-C team towards victory. Ruturaj scored 46 runs and Aryan scored 47 runs. Rajat Patidar also contributed 44 runs. All these three batsmen could not complete their half-century. In the end, Abhishek Porel scored 35 not out. Saransh Jain did take four wickets for the India-D team. But he also conceded 92 runs.
India-C team scored 168 runs in the first innings. Then Baba Indrajit played the biggest innings of 72 runs for the team. Apart from him, Abhishek Porel scored 34 runs. It was because of these players that India-C team got a lead of four runs on the basis of the first innings. India-D team scored 164 runs in the first innings. India-D captain Shreyas Iyer played innings of 9 and 54 runs in the match.
Manav Suthar became the biggest hero
Manav Suthar has emerged as the biggest hero in bowling for India-C. He took one wicket in the first innings and 7 wickets in the second innings. India-D batsmen could not stand in front of him. While the team included players like Shreyas Iyer, Devdutt Paddikal and Srikar Bharat. In the second innings, India-D team was all out for 236 runs. Due to the excellent bowling of Manav Suthar, India-D team could not score a big score in the second innings. He was given the Player of the Match award for his good performance.
