South Africa created a record, hit so many sixes in a Test innings for the first time – Hindustan News Hub

Whereas, Mulder played an innings of 105 runs on the basis of 8 fours and 4 sixes.

In this first innings of South Africa, all the batsmen together hit a total of 17 sixes and created a new record. Actually, South Africa has made a new record of hitting the most number of sixes in the first innings of a Test match. He broke his own 14 year old record. In the year 2010, South Africa had achieved the feat of hitting 15 sixes in an innings of a test match against West Indies.
