England Test Squad: The England cricket team recently won the Test series against Sri Lanka 2-1. Now in October, England has to play a three-Test series against the Pakistani team. For this, the English team has been announced. Regular captain Ben Stokes has returned. He did not play against Sri Lanka due to injury. Ollie Pope captained in his place. Jack Leach returns to the Test squad
Spinner Jack Leach is returning to the Test team for the first time since the opening Test in India in January 2024. He will be eager to perform strongly. On the other hand, Rehan Ahmed made his Test debut against the Pakistani team in Karachi in 2022. Since then he has taken 18 wickets in four Test matches. Brydon Carsey has also got a chance after returning from the ban. Jos Hull and Chris Woakes are also included in the team. Mark Wood is out due to Kohli’s injury.
